I believe one of the most crucial roles of any lawyer is to keep clients fully informed and aware of all developments in their cases. I take great pride in my ability to explain even the most complex legal concepts in a way that is clear and easy to understand. I make it a priority to return calls promptly and keep my clients updated throughout the process. I am a strong advocate for every client I represent.
While not every case can be won, and not every defendant is willing to contest the charges, I believe it’s essential to understand each client as an individual. In these situations, I focus on conveying that understanding to the judge. No one should be defined by their worst moment. I work hard to present a well-rounded view of my clients, ensuring the judge sees the full person, not just a mistake.
In addition to my legal practice, I teach Evidence at American University Law School and serve as an instructor at the Harvard Law School Trial Advocacy Workshop. Outside of work, I have a variety of cultural interests. I am an avid theatergoer, enjoy attending ballet and concerts, watch sports, and spend quality time with my dog.
